Nuol and Kingkong give us a track that has a nice bump to it, which makes since because it’s called Bassline. Equating themselves to both the essential element of hip-hop production and the standard to which all should hold themselves, Nuol does a good job of relating his premise, even if some of the words don’t seem to fit (we’re tossing that off as cultural differences because we’ve seen some of the references before). The real MVP here is Huckleberry P who, in 35 seconds, kills everything with a tightly constructed verse that makes sense in either language.

I love the sound and those crisp visuals. Nice! My ears and eyes are very happy.
Wish I could say I hadn’t been sleeping on Nuol until now. This was a recommendation to JRE in his comment section.
Glad he did that, I’ve benefited from that recommendation too, now. 🙂
