Yesterday, we asked what new tracks Trey Songz had left for Trigga Reloaded.  Today, he answered.

It’s only been a day since he released Intermission I & II and Songz is already gearing up for the rerelease of his last(?) album and has given us About You.  Sampling Carly Simon’s infamous chorus (or Janet Jackson’s, depending on your perspective), the singer gives a general description of a woman that has taken his breath away and leave it open for the female listener to picture that he’s talking about them.  A tribute to the listener, the lyrics do a good job of creating the illusion that Songz is talking to them.  The production has a mellow vibe to it that makes it sound less strictly-for-the-clubs and more anytime-you’re-in-the-mood feels.  Songz’s vocals are strong and engaging, showing that the release of new material isn’t taking away his enthusiasm for his craft.

Trigga Reloaded heads your way on June 23.
