A month after releasing Intermission as a freelease apology for the delay of his redux album Trigga Reloaded, Trey Songz has released those six tracks as well as six more as an album. Entitled Intermission I & II, the new tracks continue the theme of the original release, still on the sexual side of things like Trigga but with more hints of deeper emotional desires that will lead to Tremaine. Again, the vocals and production aren’t lazy (as you might expect) and the lyrics, while still on the raunchy side at times, are solid and show that sex songs can make sense and not be boring.
Songz is still promising the release of Trigga Reloaded, now set to be released June 23. It has us wondering what he could possibly left to release as new tracks on the LP since he has essential given us a new album.
