Elle Eyre is back with her incredible voice on her new track about coming together with someone you love to create something powerful.  Together is a good track when it comes to the lyrics which are strong and give full emotion without doing too much.  Where the track falls down is the teaming of the production and Eyre’s vocals.  While there is nothing wrong with the verbose beatwork or the singer’s strong performance by themselves, the two them together is just too much.  The track is overproduced in an attempt to match the singer’s vocals (or maybe it’s the other way around) and what ends up happening is a violent sonic assault that will, at times, have your ears shutting down for refuge.

The good news is that, based on the way she has released her other singles, there will likely be an acoustic version that will be a better fit and not so hard on the listener.
