Janine has dropped her second official EP and it is a nice groove.  Seeming to center around a self-destructive relationships, most of the tracks describes someone who has lost themselves in the desire to love another.  Each one of them seems to have her lashing out at her significant other for the loneliness and dissatisfaction she feels when their together.  The times when lashes out at herself seems to stem from the fact that she allows it to keep happening.

The two outlier tracks are the previously released This Moment (Eckhart Tolle) and the new You Deserve It, the first of which has her celebrating in her ex’s happiness and the second has her craving the freedom of spontaneity with her lover.

The vocals are nice and are distinct as you travel between the tracks.  The production is nice, although most tracks have the same dark styling, and fit the mood that she is trying to set.  Altogether, it is a solid project and worth the six bucks.
