Season five winner of The Voice, Tessanne Chin, comes with a 70’s groove about warning and moving on from a no-good man.  Fire has the singer showing the pipes that won her the NBC talent show as her vocals are both strong and controlled, showing good emotion without overdoing it with the adlibs.  The production will make you want to move as the upbeat horns highlight her brassy personality.  The lyrics are nice, although not all sections join together as well as they should as the writer seems to have gone for the female anthem feeling with the final bridge.  Still, this keep Chin in the forefront of many people’s minds because this is a strong track despite the lyrical misstep.
