Imagine the fun of Ciara with twice the vocal power and what you’ll get is Cilla Raie.

The British singer dropped her eponymous EP late last year, but it’s never too late to discover a good new artist.  the five track EP contains the kind of EDM/pop that we like as it doesn’t get monotonous and each track has a distinct personality.  The lyrics can be a little hit or miss at times with the rhyme scheme, but they never descend into the nonsensical, which is most important.  The mood of the entire project is fun, even as she switches from romance to heartbreak to revenge, which means it’s a ride you will want to take more than once.  As for the vocals, they are a perfect fit for the production as Raie gives good tone and emotion and it will make you hope she will take on a piano ballad for her next outing.  A solid project, especially for a first try.
