Leigh Bush may have gone back to using his stage name Sammie, but don’t expect that kiddie stuff from him again.  In a freelease that has him expounding on his feelings about the (not so) recent rash of policy shootings of unarmed citizens, especially young black men.  In the exquisitely produced track, Sammie sings about feeling targeted for for his skin color at the same time that it seems we have made strides in race relations as a country.  His vocals are strong and filled with emotional anguish, matching the constantly building production.  The lyrics are strong as well, giving voice to some frustrations that many may be feeling at this moment.
