Rather be your queen than your bad bitch…

Teedra Moses is sick of what it sometimes seems like love has become in the modern era.  Letting any potential suitor know that she is a grown women with a strong mind who isn’t looking for a man to raise her or boy to raise, the soulful singer proclaims that her love has to be earned.  The simple, bass-heavy production is a nice partner to Moses’ vocals as the laidback vibe of the track makes the demands that she’s making sound less like nagging or an arbitrary list of requirement as much as it is simple statement of facts.  Her vocals are lovely and don’t sound angry or desperate; she just sounds like a woman who knows that the partner for her life will come along one day.  The lyrics are solid as well, with strong phrasing that will have a lot of women saying “preach” and “amen” to their speakers.

This is the second single from Moses’ upcoming project, Cognac And Conversation.
