Full of strong lyrics that get to the heart of one-sided relationship, Janine And The Mixtape may have struck gold with her new track.  When I’m Broken is taken from the perspective of woman that is tired of the man that talks to her about spending their lives together only to ignore her once their clothes are back on.  The production by 4e-forevr is both sonically strong and great fit for the chaotic nature of the singer’s emotions.  Janine’s vocals are strong here as well, bouncing between a Christina Aguilera-styled delivery and her own signature sweetheart tone.  When you put all the elements together and you get an irresistible track that will strike some people right where they live.
