The lose of someone can drive us to do some thangs.  Apparently, Atozzio is being driven to drink as he wants to forget that things are over.  With the aid of a strong pop production, the singer relates to alcohol and the occasional smoke as friends who, instead of helping him get over his loss, help him forget anything was lost to begin with.  The emotion in Atozzio’s vocals really gets the point across and the overall feel of the track has falsely upbeat feel to it considering it’s content, which was a gamble put worked out well.   The lyrics are solid as well, showing good metaphoric content that the song interesting to listen to.
