Wooyoung of 2PM might be bringing back the disco era with his new track, R.O.S.E.  Lyrically, this song seems to be a little all over the place, but that might be attributable to cultural differences.  Still, the point that he wants to be a positive in this beautiful woman’s life comes through loud and clear.  The production is fun and upbeat and Jang’s vocal performance is a strong counterpoint with his slightly lower register.

This is his first solo release since 2012’s 23, Male, Single.  Because that was an EP and this is a two-track single (four tracks in Japan), we’re not sure if we should say to expect an album, but we’ll keep you posted on if something develops.
