The bad news is Trigga Reloaded has been pushed back. The good news is Trey Songz apologized to fans with new music!
Yeah, Trigga Reloaded was supposed to come out today; things didn’t go as planned. Not that Songz hasn’t been busy; he just wrapped up his Between The Sheets Tour with Chris Brown and Tyga before heading off to the UK to tour with Nicki Minaj, plan his own tour for later this year, and record new tracks for his next LP.
That makes the quality of the tracks that are on Intermission such a surprise. Serving as bridge between Trigga and the upcoming Tremaine, Songz blends the bawdiness that we got on Trigga with a little more of what he gave us earlier in his career. Most of the tracks are slow jams, but they aren’t lazy with vocals or production as you could easily see this fitting in with Songz catalogue to date. It’s a nice gift to tide fans over until he’s ready to continue his show.
The new release date for Trigga Reloaded is June 23. His next album, Tremaine, is expected out towards the end of the year.
