We almost slept on this one.

Trevor Wesley is a gentleman in the streets and a freak in the bed.  This upbeat single has a nice twist on the title as you would think that he would be declaring that he doesn’t have to do all that old-school courting because women don’t want it.  Instead, he’s declaring that he will be a man and do all the things you want to make you feel good…including hit the sheets.  The song has a tongue-in-cheek nature to the lyrics that works with the upbeat, throwback production filled with whistles and snaps.  Wesley’s vocals are a melodic and gentle tenor, which works with the track’s mood.  The whole song comes across as playful instead of misogynistic and that gives it appeal to both men and women.  A fun song with solid execution, we hope this a precursor of things to come from his upcoming album.
