Singer Janelle Monáe’s indie label has recently inked a distribution deal with Epic Records and signed a plethora of new artists.  With plans to release a compilation album to fully show what this label is bringing, we’ve gotten the first single and it’s a banger.

While this is not exactly what we’ve come to expect from Monáe, there is still her off-kilter touch here with the premise of yoga being her version of twerking.  The trap/island beat give the song a nice mix of club banger and radio-friendly single.  The featured verse by one of her signees, Jidenna, has a nice component as the male aspect of a female-centric track.
