We really like the direction that Kenny Lattimore’s new music is going.  His first single from his new album, Love Me Back, had a good modern sound but still had that old-school love song feeling that we’ve sorely been missing.  His new single, You Have My Heart, finishes the process the first track started by declaring an eternal love that is just for the woman in question.  The throwback sound doesn’t date the track at all and really adds a resonance to the tone of Lattimore’s voice.  What we get is a love song that may not be as strong lyrically as it could be, but reaches out to a place that a lot of modern songs don’t–the heart.
