Despite the deepest prayers of her doubters, Kehlani is succeeding little by little.  Taking to the booth to put her feelings about those who doubted her into song, she asks about the bitter taste in their mouths tastes.  While songs about haters is nothing new, we like the fact that she also includes those that supported and believed in her in the chorus and promises that she will raise them up as she goes.  The production of the track is surprisingly bright considering the tones of the synth instrumentation and there is a triumphant tone to the song that works with the attitude-tinged vocals that Kehlani gives.

Given the quality of the tracks she has released over the last year, this is a well deserved victory lap.
