Longtime fans of Elijah Blake will know that his music is hard to pinpoint sometimes.  He can sing you a love song, expose some truth, or get down and dirty.  His first single from his upcoming album goes for option three as, over a dark and sexy beat, he sings about getting it in with a woman he just met.  Providing the same smooth delivery that he has become known for, some might be taken aback by his forthright tone on this track, but the honesty is, oddly enough, the thing that makes it work.  While some singers try to go the respectful route and fail miserably as the track devolves into bad game for a one night stand, this one gets right to the point.

Blake’s LP, Shadows & Diamonds, is expected to be released sometime this year.
