We are loving Lyfe Jennings’ visuals for his new track Pretty Is.  As he has a history of doing, Jennings takes the opportunity to tell the deeper story behind the song and put the real meaning of the track into something that people can wrap their minds around.  Focusing on a stripper who is seeking to make a better way for herself, we get to follow her story as she tries to take advantage of the opportunities in front of her.  And while we appreciate the fact that the singer chose not to slut-shame his protagonist, we really appreciate the nod in the video to the fact that, as much as people complain, there are so-called respectable people who frequent gentlemen’s clubs.

Pretty Is is the first single from Jennings’ forthcoming album, Ten Years Later.
