Freddie Gibbs drops a little street realness on his new 3-track EP.  While all the tracks have Gangsta Gibbs reflecting on his thug life, the song Diamonds also takes aim at those who want to question his authenticity.  While short in run time, all three tracks have a good and cohesive sound and feature Gibbs’ strong flow and honest wordplay.  It may not completely satisfy the hunger for the rapper’s fans who want him to drop a full LP soon, but it will hold them over as well as introduce him to a large fan base by giving them a sampler.
