Last year, Letoya Luckett released a Don’t Make Me Wait, a track about craving the love of her man and wanting him to make the first move. That version of the song clocked in at less than a two-and-a-half minutes and feature Luckett exclusively. Now, a new version of the track has been release that runs nearly four minutes and features King of the South T.I. making up a good part of that difference.
The new version keeps the production and pacing the same, but remits the Luckett’s second verse of the original track but adds a new bridge and a seductive breakdown for an outro.
This track appears to be a loosie and is separate from the promotion Luckett is doing for her upcoming LP, Until Then, due out sometime this year.
