Guys, do you need a make-up track for when you get in an argument with your lady?  Eric Roberson has a song for you!

Sometimes relationships devolve into who gets the last word in the argument.  Roberson wants us to forget about all that and focus on what’s important; the love.  The singer does a good job of stating his case with strong and soulful vocals that seduce the mind (and other parts) into seeing things his way.  The production of the track is upbeat and, despite being a solid piece on its own, does an excellent job of highlighting the lead vocals and backing harmonies.  The lyrics are pretty good too, and while they are apologetic, they do provide a roadmap to getting things back on track in the relationship.

I’m Not Trying To Keep Score No More comes from Roberson’s 2014 album, The Box, and follows the single Mark On Me released last summer.  Click the button below the second player (where you can preview the album) to support the artist and purchase the album.
