Jimi Noel has a track for those who are looking to get that last moment they can with the one they thought was it. His vocals are strong and seductive to the point that you might ignore the lyrical content (more on that in a second). The production has a nice feeling that plays up the talking-on-the-phone aspect of the song as well as the pleading part of the track. The vocals a beat work together well to the point that you would understand if the lady in question forgave him.
The lyrics, however, show a player at work. While a good part of the song seems to be Noel admitting he’s done dirty, he sidesteps it and puts the onus on her to look beyond it. He says Cause I wasn’t on point/And I did a lot of dirt/That I probably shouldn’t did to you; he also says that he thought she was the one to have his kids and implies she should look past his cheating and forgive him.
