Chris Batson is proving himself to be a man of all musical genres.  A little over a month after releasing the hip-hop based Go Ghost EP (now available for download), he gives us the more alt. pop Hello, I’m Dreaming.  Still full of the solid lyrics that we have come to expect from him, Batson seems to take on a journey through love, lose and renewal.  We seem to hear the singer telling us about new love, how it falls apart, and the ways that he reconnects to the world.  The juxtaposition between the more lighthearted tracks to the more somber ones is striking and it works to create a more complete piece of art.  Each track feels like it was crafted for a purpose instead of randomly placed, telling a total story.
