Anthony Lewis reps for his city on his new single.  There is a quintessential West Coast feel to this track mixed with a little chop&screw as Lewis tells everyone all the good (and some of the bad) that gives Los Angeles its flavor.  His tones have that confident swag that exudes pride in his place of origin.  His tenor is strong and the adlibs are well placed and add emphasis.  The Chubby Jag verse is strong, although the Left Eye reference is a little out of place (It’s meant to point out a poignant moment in the rapper’s life but she neither lived nor died in L.A.).  It’s a fun track that, if you live in California, would be perfect to blast from the ride.
