Kristinia DeBarge continues to release new tracks to garner buzz for an upcoming project (and, we’re guessing, a mixtape that will have all her freeleases compiled), and her new track changes things up a little.
Going Trap&B with the production, DeBarge lets it be known just how freaky she can get with her man when he comes at her the right way. Her sweet vocals are an interesting but good mix with the harder beat that, had it been a little bit darker, would have overwhelmed her. While some might compare this to Partition, the major difference is the way in which the track is approached lyrically. While Beyoncé chose to be explicit with practically no elusions to what she’s singing about, DeBarge puts her sexual escapades in the metaphor of music banging through her speakers and maintains it throughout.
