Featuring his singles and Conversation and Got Me Hooked, KEiTH PHELPS is bringing us a strong album that can only be seen as inspired by his experiences before he decided to be an independent artist.  The producer/rapper/singer/writer will have most listeners hooked with his intro where he enumerates all the things that are wrong with the current state of the mainstream.  He goes on to give listeners a wonderful listening experience with strong lyrics that accessible to the average listener and production that is cohesive yet interesting enough to keep them hanging on until the last track.  His vocals are astounding; diverse enough to carry different types of tracks but always strong, sure of itself, and full of emotion.  It would be an injustice if this album were ignored just because it didn’t come from a major label.
