New York newcomer PROMKNGHT says that music is his therapy and this song must have let him release some angst.

In a track that sounds like someone trying to save a relationship talking with someone who doesn’t want to, the singer lets his paramour know that he loves the occasional rockiness of their union and that they only have each other, even things were no deeper than looks and sex when they began.  The production has an otherworldly quality to it, especially in the sections where the bulk of the production drops out and PROMKNGHT sings all you got is me.  Those sections initially sound off-key until the beat comes back in and you hear that his tone was perfect for the full instrumentation.  He manages the rest of the song well, managing to keep the somewhat monotone flow of his vocals from becoming disinteresting.
