Avery Storm doesn’t understand why we hate each other; we’re all people. We just have to learn to love each other for what we are. While tracks like this are usually sung over somber productions or pianos (i.e., John Legend’s Ordinary People), this is pretty upbeat. The downside is that the production sounds cheap, like it was made on a mid-90’s Casio when synthesized sounds rarely sounded like the instrument they were meant to imitate. Storm’s vocals are a saving grace and, although he flirts with going off-key at times, he never does. He manages to deliver his message well and we fill a little uplifted after listening.
