Starting off with a sample and a few lyrics from R. Kelly’s Seems Like You’re Ready, Raheem DeVaughn gets things ultra-heated with his new babymaker, Temperature’s Rising. The lush harmonies and DeVaughn’s sensual vocals are what sell this song; the track could be acapella and almost no one would notice a difference. Not that the production doesn’t have its pluses. The metronome-like beat teamed with the humming bassline gives an orgasmic feeling to an already sexually pulsing track. DeVaughn has a gift for these kinds of tracks and he doesn’t seem to be letting up any time soon.
