While you might not know what Kingdom Hearts is unless you’re a gamer, the sentiment that you can understand someone through their art is not foreign to us.  Reflecting the soft and gentle melodies of the game’s score composer, Yoko Shimomura, DB2 has given us a song that can have two meanings.  The first can be seen as a summary of the game’s storyline.  The other can be seen as one composer reaching out to another and feeling a connection through their shared medium.  Either way, it is a lovely sentiment that is being expressed.
