Dawn Richard is reflecting on the fragility of love in her new track.  Over a track that sounds like EDM mixed with island sounds, she asks her lover to protect what they have.  Richard’s vocals are dynamic; rising and falling with the emotional tide of the song.  The harmonies are especially nice, seeming to add an extra layer of instrumentation to the already full beatwork.  The lyrics have a running metaphor but are accessible to even the most casual listener.
