Ciara is throwing some lyrical shade at Future.

She said recently that her new music is going to be honest and she wasn’t kidding!  On a ballad that seems to have a Future imitator in the background making callouts, the mom and performer lets her feelings be known about what she expects to happen with her ex in the…future.  Possibly one of the strongest tracks both production-wise and vocally that the singer has put out in a while, Ciara shows a lot of emotion with her lowkey delivery style.  The lyrics are raw but seem to come from a real place; not unexpected since Cici co-wrote the piece with Rock City.

There’s no official news on her upcoming album’s release date, but it is expected sometime this spring.
