Singer/songwriter Johntá Austin might be best known for his track Turn It Up, but he has been writing tracks since 1996 and putting out music since 2008.  While his album, Ocean Drive, was shelved he has since dropped a pretty good freelease in 2012 and, apparently is gearing up for something now with his new track, Gotta Get It.

While it’s not the best track for a comeback, Austin demonstrates his ability to write some relatable lyrics.  Sounding like something that may have been written for Trey Songz, Austin explains to a resistant woman that she should be with him because he treats her like a queen; too bad he has a girl (it’s briefly mentioned in the track).  The production for this track is on the generic side and Austin’s voice isn’t quite up to the task of overcoming that but he does a good job with the track, making it worth more than a single listen.  Take it for a spin and judge for yourself.
