Don’t confuse this song with Miley Cyrus’ Wrecking Ball; this is entirely different.

Kiki Rowe is sorry to have led her ex on, but she has things she wants to accomplish before she settles down.  This track has that muted, Toronto sound and it’s a nice match for her voice.  The lyrics are solid and the emotion evoked by them is a perfect match for the beatwork.  The idea of ending a relationship that is doomed before it can turn bad is an interesting concept and Rowe handles it well.  It is also interesting to hear these sentiments come from a woman instead of a man.
