Imagine our surprise when we saw that Letoya Luckett was getting off the musical sidelines by not only announcing a new album but dropping of its first single!

I’m Ready declares her love for her man by letting him know that she’s down for whatever (and not just sexually).  In vocals that sound absolutely Marvin Gaye inspired, Luckett floats over the production, which has an ethereal quality to the melodies by has a strong drumline that gives what could be a slower track a more danceable beat.  The result is an infectious and sexy track that sounds mature but will have relevance to a younger crowd.

Until Then, Luckett’s third studio album, is slated for release sometime in the spring of 2015.
