Dondria’s new freelease is probably not the strongest she’s put out in the last year, but it will likely get her more attention that the others because of the production.  Over a stuttering beat, the singer utilizes nice harmonies and the strengths of her alto register to complain to her ex about him giving up while she was fighting for their relationship.  Unfortunately the basic lyrics and Dondria’s unusually lackluster delivery hurt this song before it can really get off the ground.  It also seems to just kind of fade out before it comes to what feels like a natural end.  It’s not an awful song by any means; it just seems to fade into the background.
