Don’t be fooled by the track names; these are not remakes.

Khleo Thomas takes some inspiration and some samples from his favorite 90’s tracks and lays downs some great original bars to come up with nice new tracks.  Produced by Chris Batson & D Flow, some of the overlays here are ingenious.  On the Thong Song track, you will be forgiven for thinking that it’s misnamed (the instrumental sample is of Busta Rhymes’ and Janet Jackson’s Whatcha Gonna Do?) until you hear the chorus.  Same happens with the track 7 Days.  While the lyrics are not the deepest, this is some nice freak music for those who need more than R&B for their playlists.

We also think that some of the male vocals are Chris Baston as well.
