It’s been a while since Teedra Moses had an official release.  Apart from a single released earlier in the year, she has been working primarily in the freelease department.  Now, she’s back with California Vibes.

While the production for this five-track EP is a little hit or miss, Teedra’s vocals are on point.  She captures the laidback California sound that the project is named for by making her performance lowkey, but not so lowkey that it’s disinteresting.  The lyrics are fairly solid and give the feeling of a woman happily living her life.
