Singer Sha Sha Jones has a pair of tracks that address two very different subjects.

The first track, Move Forward, is about her seeing an old lover and, after getting momentarily lost in memories, she decides to keep moving on with her life.  The piano-driven ballad shows of the strength of Jones’ voice well as her vocals are the main focal point of the track.  The lyrics also make this a more realistic love lost song, with the singer realizing that the relationship is over and both she and the old boyfriend have to move on.

The second track, I Can’t Breathe, puts Eric Garner’s last words to music in a way that makes you realize just how non-threatening he truly was.  We will say that the choice of production is a little odd, but it works by making those words sound like what they were, the venting of frustration of a man who did not know he was about to die.
