New singer Lamor is taking his shot at the becoming the new babymaker king with his track Somethin’ New.  Over a pulsing beat, he urges the woman he’s talking to express her sexual fantasies in the bedroom.  Lamor has a nice, tenor tone and, while we would have liked him to play with his range a little more, he is engaging throughout the track.  The production is a little on the generic side, but it feels right with the subject matter and allows him to show off his tones without showing out.  There is definitely something here worth building on.
