Alternative R&B singer Raye releases her first project it is perfect for falling temperatures. The Londoner’s soulful voice over ethereal productions creates a reflective mood as she sings about love, loss, and getting blazed. Some of the tracks have a little more of a EDM sound to them, but no so much that the transition is jarring. The melding of the more pop sounds give a nice break from the darker tones. Raye rides each beat well without compromising her rich tone and adding deeper feeling to what could be somewhat generic songs.
