The Lyte is completely happy with the state of her life right now.

After a monster appearance with Brandy, Queen Latifah, and Yo-Yo at the Soul Train Music Awards, the veteran MC has apparently recorded a new track that lets us know just because we don’t see her doesn’t mean she’s not about that cake.  Joined by rapper Lil Mama, this upbeat track manages to show that Lyte still has a devastating flow and strong lyricism.  Fun and a bit of throwback, we hope this signals a return of artist in the near future.
