Every couple has their Bonnie and Clyde moments. Jade de LaFleur and Ro James are feeling the freedom of the road (without the criminal activities, we hope) as they hit the 405. Both are wondering if this is the relationship where the other is willing to go to the ends of the earth for the other. The track has a stunning, guitar-laden production that just gets you from the moment you begin to listen. LaFleur has great vocals that sound so utterly feminine that, when Ro James comes in with his gruffer tone, you feel the masculinity flow into the track. The lyrics are strong but uncomplicated, getting straight to the point with little metaphor (although there is some).
Currently this single is standalone, but there is the feeling that there will be a project forthcoming. We’ll keep you posted.
