I’m going to admit it; I love Anderson .Paak. Anyone who can do a neo-soul remake of Seven Nation Army has got my attention. He was one of the two reasons that this blog jumped out of the planning stage and into fruition. He holds a very special place in my heart. So when I saw that he had a full-length LP out, I bought it without a listen; risky business that I am not sorry for.
It might not be everyone’s cup of tea but .Paak showcases his talents to the fullest on Venice. From dropping some solid rhymes in Milk N Honey to making sure that we know that he doesn’t miss his girl on I Miss That Whip, his tracks are interesting and diverse. We think you will like it if you take a listen and, if you end up buying, play Put You On and think of us.
