Jay Sean has left Cash Money and is taking no time off to let his career stall. Promising a follow-up to his 2011 mixtape, The Mistress, the lead single of which is a track about confessing his infidelity to the woman he loves. Declaring that she is his forever and that he doesn’t even remember the other girl’s name, he tells her he will never stop loving her. The production of this track is traditional Jay Sean, that odd mix of R&B and EMD that doesn’t fit seamlessly into either genre. Sean’s performance is nice, giving good emotion and good tone.
There’s no release day on The Mistress 2, put we’ll keep you posted.
