It takes a particular artist that can swear in the middle of a smooth R&B track and make it sound authentic; Jamie Foxx may not be one of them.

On his new track, Foxx blames the sexy dress and the seductive woman who approaches him for the fact that he’s going to take her from her man.  Most of the track works just fine, even when he calls her the baddest bitch [he’s] seen in [his] life.  Where the track falls down is the chorus.  When he declares that it ain’t my fuckin’ fault, you get the same feeling that you may have gotten when you heard that Brian McKnight track where he promised to make your body squirt.  The smooth production that has a kind of old-school, classy feel to it and makes the chorus feel like it’s there for shock value and not because Foxx or the writer (if it’s someone other than him) thought it made sense there.

Sound off on this one; we’d love to know how you feel about this track.
