You’d be forgiven for thinking that the name Lion Babe only referred to vocalist Jillian Hervey with the Erykah Badu vocals, but this duo (the other half of which is producer Lucas Goodman) have just gotten a major cosign from rapper Childish Gambino.  Sampling the Nina Simone track Mr. Bojangles, the rapper and lead singer lay it on the line for everyone and everything that tries to erect a wall in their way; they jump so high that nothing will ever stop them.  A positive track that will leave you feeling uplifted, you might need to make this your early morning alarm tone.
