Singer Raheem DeVaughn knows how to celebrate womanhood.  He has written a song for his upcoming album Love, Sex, and Passion that reminds all men that the women they call bitches could just as easily be their wife, sister, mother, or daughter.  Declaring that the woman is the backbone of every man, the independent singer exalts the women in his and thanks them for all that they have done for him.  With strong vocals and production that features some lovely violin sections on top of a traditional soul beat, we are looking forward to see which side of DeVaughn comes through on this album.  The side that rights about the virtues of the fairer sex…or the one who sings songs like this.  (Both are good, though, so we’re not complaining either way.)

Love, Sex, and Passion is due out around February 2015.  We’ll keep you posted.
