Headed by the grown and sexy single Go Go Girl, Ayanda Jiya has dropped an EP that, in the words of the singer, “invokes the spirit of true R&B/Soul.”  Hailed as the South African singer’s best work to date, every song seems to be about a strong, confident woman trying to navigate life.  Whether it be just being out with the girls or the ups and downs of love, there is a sense that she knows her own mind and has decided to deal with every situation like an adult.  There is an underlying funkiness to each track that has mingled with both R&B and hip-hop production to create something that has a very universal appeal.  The downside of this EP?  There doesn’t seem to be a place to buy or download it as of yet; but will likely change, so we will keep you posted.

Update:  You can purchase the EP on iTunes.  Thanks to Tinismdotcom for the info!
